On May 16, 2017, the Center for the Analysis of Terrorism (CAT) has been recognized as an institution of public interest.

The administration considers that the CAT “provides research in the field of terrorism (…) enabling the public and authorities to better understand the phenomenon”.

Following that decision, the CAT donors will now receive a tax receipt and will be able to deduct from their income tax 66% of the amount of their donations for individuals and 60% for corporations, in accordance with articles 200 and 238 bis of the General Tax Code.

This is an important decision for our development and the recognition of the work of all CAT members.
